Multiplanar movements are exercises that ensure you move in all dimensions (front and rear, side to side, and rotation). Why do that? By choosing the exercises for fast weight losing tips like the ones that move your body in all directions, it will increase your fat loss results exponentially.
Let’s say you want to train your legs and butt. A typical leg press machine only allows you to work your legs back and forth. But what if you decide to do squats instead? This will allow you to work out your legs in all directions:
Basic Squats feet should be shoulder width apart and you should feel like you are going to sit on a bench, then use your legs and buttocks to return to a standing position. (Front & Back)
Side Squat Perform the same squatting movement as above but now step out to the side, alternating left and right, with each squat. (Side to Side)
Sumo Walk Squat Go down into a squat position and walk forward and back like a sumo wrestler would. (Rotation)
As you can see, this will take A LOT more muscles than just a plain old leg press and give you better results for a more sculpted, lean look.
This is exactly the kind of workout that a person should do if they have a lot of extra weight and they want to get the pounds off and stay off. But remember to start with a few reps (3 – 5) and build up to a 10 rep. Be sure to do some stretches before you tackle the squats.
